About Us
Top Grade Tutors
Top Grade Tutors is a student owned tutoring business in the North Shore founded by Highland Park High School seniors Josh Gerber and Daniel Leshem; TGT is now owned by Highland Park High School senior Ilya Rivkin. We currently operate in Highland Park, Deerfield, New Trier, and Lake Forest. We also tutor in middle schools across the North Shore.
Our tutors administer 1-on-1 sessions and group study sessions in-person at the client’s location of choice or remotely through Zoom depending on customer preferences. We teach almost all high school classes at the survey, regular, honors, and AP level, as well as middle school classes at all levels.

Founders
Josh Gerber
Highland park high school
Josh is a senior at Highland Park High School. Some of his favorite activities include tutoring, Debate, DECA, and tennis. Josh tutors in The Learning Center at school and does volunteer tutoring at Nuestro Center. He is also the Co-President of Debate and a board member on DECA at Highland Park. Among Josh’s favorite classes are Calculus and Economics, but he loves tutoring in all subjects!
Daniel Leshem
Highland park high school
Daniel Leshem is a senior at Highland Park High School where he enjoys taking math and business-related courses. Outside of school, he holds a leadership board position on the HPHS congressional debate team. He competes in various DECA business events as well as congressional debate tournaments on both a local and national level. After school, you can either find him on the tennis court or sitting around the fire with his friends.
